In Kentucky, a homeland security law requires the state’s citizens to acknowledge the security provided by the Almighty God, or risk 12 months in prison. Despite the law’s obvious and blatant violation of the US Constitution, no Kentucky judge has bothered to rule the law unconstitutional. But Kentucky does have good bourbon so… no, fuck them.

Google recently released this cool little educational tool/show off thing for Google Chrome. It’s the nearest 100,000 stars from Earth and you can scroll and zoom through this entire chunk of galaxy. Trippy.
